El Tiempo Latino's CBE Certification
Hello,I hope you're doing well. As the Deputy Publisher of El Tiempo Latino, a proud entity of Mas TV - El Planeta LLC, I am thrilled to share a significant milestone in our journey. We have recently attained a Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) certification, affirming our unwavering commitment to the enrichment and support of the Washington DC community, particularly its vibrant Latino population. This certification represents more than just an accolade; it serves as a testament to our dedication to delivering high-quality and informative content to the 77,000 Latinos residing in the District. Additionally, our Spanish-language content plays a pivotal role for the over 800,000 Latinos in the Washington Metropolitan Area, as well as the broader Spanish-speaking communities contributing to Washington's economy. Over the past three decades, our mission has remained steadfast: to empower our community with news and information that resonates and informs. In embracing the digital age, we have diversified our offerings to include digital advertising, two local e-newsletters, content creation, and event management. This evolution is driven by our commitment to innovation in how we connect with our audience and clients, reinforcing our position as a minority-owned business deeply invested in social impact. The CBE certification marks a new chapter for us, opening doors to potential collaborations with DC Government agencies and organizations aligned with our mission. Alongside my colleagues, EVP of Advertising Zulema Tijero and CEO Marcos Marin, we are eager to explore opportunities that can foster partnerships benefiting both our community and your objectives.Your ongoing support propels our efforts, allowing us to continue making a positive impact in the lives of Latinos in DC. I look forward to discussing potential collaborations that leverage our shared goals and maximize the potential of this new certification. If you are ever in the DC area, I would be happy to meet you for coffee and provide more details about the exciting projects lined up for El Tiempo Latino this year. Please feel free to reach out at [email protected], and we can plan a meeting this spring.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we're set to achieve even greater things.
Warmest regards,
Rafael Ulloa
